About me

Hello reader!

I’m a working mother of two and a self-proclaimed multitasking generalist. As a serial hobbyist and a jack of all trades I find joy in wearing various hats. My greatest passion though, is working on my self, everyday, in every way. As cliched as it sounds, the statement ‘Self investment is the best investment’ truly resonates with me.

Jim Rohn, the world renowned American entrepreneur and motivational speaker, famously said, ” Your level of success will rarely exceed your level of personal development, because success is something you attract by the person you become.” How true is this!

For me, the allure lies in the profound impact it has on every aspect of my life, the constant evolving and expanding of horizons, the resilience and self-awareness that accompanies the growth. It’s a ongoing pursuit of reaching my fullest potential and navigating life with intention and authenticity.

In my down time, I love whipping up home made, healthy foodie goodies in my thermomix and my trustee slow-cooker. Knitting and reading by the fireside is another one of my fantasy hobbies but let’s debunk this myth of serene fireside relaxation, as this me-time is often cut short with kids launching into a recount of forgotten untold stories!

I absolutely love working out. Nothing revs me up more than a good session of pumping weights to kickstart my day. The sense of accomplishment that follows, knowing I’ve moved the needle on one of my crucial goals, is unparalleled.

My journey into the world of fitness began with a desire to shed post-pregnancy weight after welcoming my second child. Over time, my fitness goals have evolved, but the consistent high and mental health benefits from each workout remains unwavering.

Mental health is a cause close to my heart and through my blog I aspire to share insights from my health and fitness journey along with easy and wholesome everyday recipes.

Still on the path of learning and growth, I’m eager to connect with you, exchanging ideas and firing our enthusiasm for life.

Cheers to self-discovery and well-being!
